Palin Has No Clue What Her Job is?!

Palin, the ticket in McCain’s campaign, finally showed her pretty little face in front of a camera in her first interview last Thursday on ABC news. Right off the bat, Charles Gibson asked if she was ready to take the responsibility of being VP. She claimed she didn’t even have to think when she was asked. She was THAT ready.

In my opinion, the interview was not in her favor. She constantly repeated answers one time, seemed unsure the next. I am guessing foreign policies aren’t her strong suit. (There wouldn’t be a new Cold War with Palin’s remarkable experiences with Russia: "We can see Russian land from Alaska") She obviously struggled during her interview, unable to describe President Bush's doctrine, admitting she's never met a foreign head of state, distorting answers to avoid questions of national security.

You know what? I forgave her. After all, it was her first interview. Maybe she wasn’t prepared . . . Maybe she was having a bad day . . .

Then all came crashing down when I saw a video of another interview. She actually said on CNBC’s Kudlow & Co. that she has no clue what a VP does! Okay, did she just lie on her first interview of being "ready"? Palin, the ticket, has no clue what her job is? This whole first-woman-VP is great and all, but I want someone who actually knows what they are doing.

  • Omg...what a find. You can count on this video being in an Obama ad soon...

  • Does it make a difference if she never thought she would become a Vice President? I know I will never be VP, yet I still know what the job requires. I think her snarky comment there does a good job of showing the minute interest that Palin has taken in government policy when it has nothing to do with Alaska.
