Wardrobe

One of the topics in his election is about Palin’s expensive wardrobe. She has received clothing worth $150,000, courtesy of the RNC. Seeing this could hurt her politically, she later went back to wearing her regular clothes. She vaguely mentioned a “double standard”. Was the media actually being sexist? In my opinion, while it may play a small part, it doesn’t really affect anything. Just remember there was John Edwards bashing with his $400 haircut. It has more to do with the fact RNC is wasting money on clothes-- pretty reckless if you ask me. Most of all, it has to do with hypocrisy. This woman is suppose to represent the hockey moms out there – the hope for the little people. She is constantly saying that she understands us. She is one of us. Well Palin, wearing $25000 clothes everyday isn’t exactly what we do.
