Spitzer

All charges were dropped for Eliot Spitzer, the ex-governor of New York. Now I was angry when I heard this. I didn't care he got some prositutes. I don't believe it in morally wrong to involve yourself with a prositute (maybe not acceptable but not morally wrong Unless you are cheating). It is like a business deal. Wrong or not, it IS illegal in NY. If some average joe got caught, I am pretty sure there will be no drop charges. He should aleast be proscuted for patronizing a prostitute in the third degree (a class A misdemeanor):

S 230.04: Patronizing a prostitute in the third degree
A person is guilty of patronizing a prostitute in the third degree when he or she patronizes a prostitute [age fourteen and up].

Up to 1 yr of jail and/or $1,000

Also he also transport the girls which is also a crime:

TITLE 18--CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE

PART I--CRIMES

CHAPTER 117--TRANSPORTATION FOR ILLEGAL SEXUAL ACTIVITY AND RELATED CRIMES

Sec. 2421. Transportation generally

Whoever knowingly transports any individual in interstate or foreign commerce, or in any Territory or Possession of the United States, with intent that such individual engage in prostitution, or in any sexual activity for which any person can be charged with a criminal offense, or attempts to do so, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both.

How come he is free?
